About Our Shop

Toro Leather Shop was a small project that started with a wallet. I wanted to design and create my own card holder and was able to prototype various designs while attending the University of Washington. I would sneak into the architectural studio by night to use the laser cutter, and work until the sun came up. Since then, sketching, testing, and prototyping new ideas has been ingrained in my design process, and I continue to explore new ideas with the same voracity. I hope you find something you like and can use. My hope is that one life lasting wallet can replace 100 plastic wallets in the landfill.
